An H-shape that clears the shoulders
The straps sit away from the shoulder blades, so the front legs can swing freely. Leave two to three fingers' space between the lower strap and the elbow.

Guide your dog's left front leg through the chest strap.

Clip it on the right
Bring the strap around the back and click the right-side buckle shut. Check the fit before you set off.

How to measure
Measure the neck. Around the base of the neck, where a collar would sit.
Measure the chest. Around the widest part, just behind the front legs.
