No UPF rating or heat-protection test has been verified. The brim provides a small physical shade; it does not replace shade, water or avoiding heat.
Can I select a size by weight alone?
No. Head shape, ear placement and comfort matter. The listed weights are only suggestions; compare the cap dimensions and photographs.
Is it for all-day wear?
No. Keep wear brief and supervised. Remove it if it obstructs vision, shifts, catches on something or bothers your pet.
